Full-body ornamentation on this pen is a demonstration of Montegrappa’s recently acquired, 6-axis deep laser engraving technology. This radical reworking of the Extra shape features an all-over tattoo like engraving enhanced with hand antiquing and satin finishing. Lightly textured, its continuous pattern completely envelops Skulls & Roses’ sterling-silver body. Mirror-polished silver end discs, cap band, trim ring and clip are points of continuity from the Extra family, while a lifeblood red cubic zirconia and magma Montegrappite grip section provide the design’s only traces of color. A solitaire, embedded in the clip, symbolizes personal rebirth. The Montegrappite tip is excellent grip for total control. The intricate tattoo-style engraving on the entire barrel is made entirely of sterling silver, the oxidized and satin effect give a magnificent "worn" result.
