Description

The human gut is one of the most complex ecosystems and consists of a microbial community of several hundred different species that are useful to the body.

When there is a depletion of beneficial microbial species (a state of dysbiosis), a series of dysfunctions occur which can have repercussions on the individual's state of health with alterations in intestinal function (diarrhea, constipation, flatulence, feeling of abdominal heaviness), tiredness and difficulty concentrating.

On these occasions, it is advisable to take a product consisting of prebiotic fibres and specific micro-organisms with probiotic action, normally present in the intestine which, if consumed in adequate quantities and for a sufficient time, rebalance the intestinal microflora, restoring its normal physiological functions.

Thanks to the use of an innovative patented production process, the 6 probiotic microorganisms contained in Proflora are presented in a microencapsulated and gastro-protected form. The use of this technology significantly improves the survival capacity of all probiotic microorganisms during gastroduodenal transit, thus allowing a large number of live and viable microorganisms to reach the intestine.

The probiotic component, belonging to both the Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus genus, promotes the balance of intestinal flora.

The prebiotic component consists of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS).

As FOS is neither hydrolysed by digestive enzymes nor absorbed by the mucous membrane of the small intestine, it can reach the colon intact, where it is selectively fermented by the beneficial component of the intestinal microflora, in particular lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, thus promoting the balance of intestinal flora.

Instructions for use

DYSBIOSIS

Adults and children: recommended dose: 1 sachet daily for 30 days at least.

ACUTE GASTRO-INTESTINAL DISORDERS

Adults and children: recommended dose: 1 to 2 sachet/s daily for 8-10 days as prescribed by your doctor if needed. Afterwards, continue with 1 sachet daily for 30 days.

Proflora is also recommended for the elderly, for pregnant and breastfeeding women (as prescribed by doctor), for people affected by allergies, celiac disease, food intolerance or sensitization.

Proflora is allergen free tested, by using a method patented by Probiotical S.p.A., according to current legislation (Annex II Reg. EU 1169/2011) for the following allergens: wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut and kamut-derived strains, shellfish and shellfish products, eggs and egg products, fish and fish products, peanuts, soy and soy products, milk and dairy including lactose, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, lupins, mollusk and mollusk products, sulfur dioxide and sulphites at concentrations higher than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l expressed as sulfur dioxide.

Store the product in a cool and dry place and protect from light.
