What are NY Notary Public Services Walk-in hours?

Do you provide witnesses?
Yes. We can provide witnesses for Notary services at our retail location or to bring along for traveling mobile notary services.
Do I need to be present to have something notarized?
Yes under normal circimstances. In order for us to notarize a document, New York State law says the person whose signature is being notarized must sign the document in the notary’s presence. The person can’t sign the document ahead of time and then bring it to the notary.

* Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), New York State now permits virtual notarizations during this unprecedented time. Remote virtual notarizations will allow for personal and corporate legal documents to be legalized without leaving your home or office for the usual in-person notary via FaceTime and Skype.
How does Virtual Notarization work in New York?
Virtual Remote Notarization is a multi-step process comprised of: Direct (live) interaction between the person signing and the notary public via audio-video tool such as FaceTime or Skype. The signer must provide they are physically present in the State of New York and show photo ID to verify identity. Signer electronically sends a legible copy of document with signature and current date to notary. The notary then notarizes the transmitted document and sends back to sender. If the signer additionally requests a physical copy of the notarized document, the signed & dated original must be mailed to the notary and received within 30 days of execution. Please call 917-453-7358 to schedule an appointment.
Does NY Notary Public Services offer traveling mobile notary services?
Yes. We travel and notarize documents for individuals and corporate clients throughout NYC’s 5 boroughs, Long Island, Rockland County, and parts of New Jersey & Connecticut. We travel to the privacy of your home, office, business, hospital, nursing home, or school. Mobile notary hours are Friday - Tuesday, 8:30am-9:00pm and Wednesday - Thursday 8:30am-9:30am / 7:00pm-9:00pm. Please call 917-453-7358 to schedule an appointment.

What is acceptable ID to show when having something Notarized?
Acceptable ID for a notary must be issued by a government agency and include the bearer’s recent photograph, signature and physical description. e.g state driver license, US Passport, International Passport, Federal ID card.

Do you offer Apostille services?
Yes. NY Notary Public Services specializes in Apostille Certification (Authentication of documents for international use) and Document Legalization to individuals and corporations in New York City and throughout the United States.
What is the turnaround time for an Apostille?
Apostille with no translation: 1-2 business days. Apostille with translation: 3 business days.
Do you offer Translation services?
Yes. NY Notary Public Services offers certified translation services for all Legal, Government & Academic Issued documents. We offer certified and notarized translations for all USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) Petitions.
What languages do you translate?
NY Notary Public Services can translate Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, Albanian, Greek, Urkrainian, Russian, Dutch, German, and Portuguese.
What do I need to send to NY Notary Public Services to get my document(s) translated?
We only need to see a COPY of your document(s). You can scan/text images of your document(s) to send us.
