NY Notary Public Services is a second-generation, family-run business rooted in our original family operation, Reader Stationery, which opened in 1977 at Ninth Street and University Place in Greenwich Village. For decades, that storefront served New Yorkers not only for everyday retail needs — from stationery and Montblanc pens to Rolodex refills, newspapers, and lottery tickets — but also as a trusted place to ask questions, get guidance, and handle important documents correctly.
Working directly with customers for over 40 years taught us something technology alone cannot replicate: how documents actually move through real institutions, where delays occur, and how problems can be prevented before they start.
