NY Notary Public Services offers limited, appointment-based Mobile Notary Public services in New York City and Long Island for documents and circumstances that call for an in-person signing. We review each request individually based on document type, location, scheduling, and notary availability.
Many documents can now be notarized online. Before arranging an in-person visit, consider our New York Remote Online Notarization (RON) service. For eligible documents, RON allows signers to complete notarization remotely without travel or an on-site appointment.

Do You Need a Mobile Notary or Can You Notarize Online?
The right service depends on the document, the signer, and the requirements of the organization receiving it. We can help review whether an eligible document may be handled through Remote Online Notarization or whether an in-person appointment is more appropriate.
- Remote Online Notarization: Often a convenient option for eligible affidavits, acknowledgments, business documents, and other permitted notarizations.
- In-person Mobile Notary: May be appropriate when a physical wet-ink signature is required, the receiving party does not accept RON, or the document is not eligible for our online service.
- Document review first: We confirm the notarization method and any applicable limitations before scheduling.
Certain documents, including New York statutory powers of attorney, wills, trusts, and health care proxies, are not handled through our RON service. In-person notarization may be available where legally appropriate; additional witnessing or execution requirements may apply.
Limited Mobile Notary Appointments in NYC & Long Island
Our mobile notary service is offered on a limited, advance-request basis rather than as a guaranteed daily travel service. We consider eligible appointments at homes, offices, businesses, hospitals, nursing homes, and other suitable locations.
Requests may be considered in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County, and Suffolk County, subject to location, document requirements, notary availability, and pricing. Mentioning a service area does not guarantee an appointment there.
- Advance requests preferred: Please contact us before making plans around an in-person signing.
- Availability is limited: Same-day, evening, weekend, and urgent travel appointments are not guaranteed.
- Fees are quoted after review: Travel, location, scheduling, document complexity, and any additional services may affect the quote.
- By appointment only: We do not offer walk-in mobile notarization.

Mobile Notary Services for Attorneys, Businesses & Professional Signings
We review select in-person requests from law firms, businesses, and professional clients, including coordinated signings and documents that cannot be completed through our online notarization service. For recurring or multi-signer needs, we can discuss the documents, location, and expected scheduling requirements before confirming availability.
When appropriate, our Remote Online Notarization service may offer a simpler solution for eligible signers in different locations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you still offer mobile notary appointments in New York City?
Yes. We review a limited number of in-person requests in NYC and Long Island. Appointments are subject to document type, location, availability, and a confirmed quote.
Can I notarize my document online instead of booking a mobile notary?
Many documents may be eligible for New York Remote Online Notarization. We review the document and intended use before confirming eligibility.
Do you notarize wills and powers of attorney?
We can review requests involving these documents for an appropriate in-person appointment. New York statutory powers of attorney and wills are not offered through our RON service, and applicable witnessing and execution rules must be followed.
Can a mobile notary come to a hospital or nursing home?
We consider eligible requests at hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities on a limited basis. The signer must be able to participate in the notarization, and facility access, identification, and other requirements are reviewed in advance.
Which NYC boroughs and Long Island areas do you cover?
We consider requests in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Actual coverage depends on notary availability and the requested location.
Can I book a same-day or after-hours mobile notary?
Availability is limited, and same-day or after-hours appointments are not guaranteed. Please email your request, location, and desired time for review.
How much does a mobile notary cost?
We provide a quote after reviewing the document, location, number of signers, scheduling needs, and any applicable travel or additional service charges.
Can you notarize my birth certificate, marriage certificate, or divorce decree?
A notary does not ordinarily notarize an official government-issued record itself. Depending on your needs, we may be able to assist with a related notarized statement or help you obtain an eligible certified record through our document services.
How do I get started?
